At E.Tel, we’re passionate about fostering community spirit and supporting meaningful causes. This year, we’re thrilled to share details about the upcoming Best Friends Walk, a month-long fitness and fundraising challenge dedicated to helping homeless pets find loving homes.
What is the Best Friends Walk?
The Best Friends Walk is an inclusive event organised by PetRescue, inviting participants to set a fundraising goal and choose a walking distance to complete during September. Whether you walk, run, roll, or roam, every step you take helps support homeless pets through PetRescue’s adoption platform and assistance programs.
How It Works
Register: Sign up for free and set a fundraising goal. Choose a distance that challenges you and your best friend, whether it's 5km a day for 10 days or 1km daily for the entire month.
Fundraise: Share your challenge and encourage friends, family, and colleagues to sponsor you. Funds raised will go towards finding homes for pets in need.
Walk: Select your preferred walking path and complete your challenge. Walk in your neighbourhood, on a bushwalk, at the beach, or in a park. Walk solo or with a group of friends!

The first 500 registrants receive a free Best Friends Walk bandana for their furry friend. Plus, raise $385 or more to earn a limited edition Best Friends Walk tee. There are plenty of opportunities for additional treats and prizes along the way!
