Wireless Broadband Service
How to use the USB modem and connect to Internet?
When you purchased your USB modem from E.Tel, simply plug in the modem into your personal computer USB slot. It should automatically install the driver & software required. Run the installed software and you can use the wireless broadband Internet service right away.
Some type of USB modems comes with an installation CD. If that is the case, make sure that you have installed both the driver and the wireless broadband software, before plugging in the modem.
NOTE: If you are using a BYO-modem or USB modem that you purchased from another carrier (Optus, Virgin, Telstra, etc), in order to use our wireless Internet service firstly you need to uninstall the previous installed software (while keeping the USB modem driver). Then just download and install E.Tel wireless broadband software. Once the software installation is completed, simply run the program and your broadband service should start automatically.
Keep in mind that some modem comes with its own pre-installed software that may try to re-override the software. Say no, if ever asked. Always use E.Tel's provided software.
